Karim Demirdache

Managing Partner

Mr. Demirdache is a Founder and Managing Partner of Post Road. Based in New York City, Mr. Demirdache has 17 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to founding Post Road, Mr. Demirdache acted as a special advisor to a private equity real estate fund (the "Fund") on new acquisitions and the restructuring of two large defaulted mortgage loans in Manhattan with an aggregate unpaid principal balance in excess of $200 million. Mr. Demirdache represented the Fund's interests, as the B-Note holder and Directing Lender, in all negotiations with the special servicer and the borrower. Prior to that, Mr. Demirdache was a partner at Hudson Realty Capital where he was a Managing Director responsible for originating, underwriting and structuring debt and equity investments and asset management. Mr. Demirdache was directly responsible for originating $400 million of investments as well as developing strategic relationships in target markets.

Prior to joining Hudson, Mr. Demirdache served as a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston/Praedium Group where he was a senior acquisitions officer responsible for sourcing, underwriting and structuring fund investments. During his tenure at Praedium, Mr. Demirdache was also responsible for oversight of the group's loan portfolios where he was actively involved in maximizing values through restructuring, foreclosure / bankruptcy litigation, REO sales, discounted payoffs and providing seller financing. Before joining CSFB, he worked with both The Trump Organization and The Galbreath Company. Mr. Demirdache has underwritten, structured and managed assets in excess of $2.5 billion. Mr. Demirdache received his M.S. in Real Estate from Columbia University, and received his B.A. in Land Economics from McMaster University in Canada.
